ENSLAVED Replaces CELTIC FROST At Holland's ROADBURN Festival

April 9, 2008

Norway's ENSLAVED has replaced CELTIC FROST on the billing of the Roadburn festival, which will take place April 17-20 at 013 in Tilburg, the Netherlands.

CELTIC FROST singer and guitarist Tom Gabriel Fischer announced his departure from the group earlier today "due to the irresolvable, severe erosion of the personal basis so urgently required to collaborate within a band so unique, volatile, and ambitious."

Commented the Roadburn festival organizers: "It's a nightmare. We have been on the phone with CELTIC FROST's management all day. We were told that it wasnt an easy decision for Tom to leave the band just a week before Roadburn. We are so gutted. So are all the parties involved."

MetalKult.com has posted three more live videos from ENSLAVED's November 8, 2007 show at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York City.

In the videos, the Norwegian progressive black metallers perform "Violet Dawning" and "Bounded by Allegiance" from 2004's "Isa", and "Path to Vanir" from 2006's "Ruun".

Also available on MetalKult.com is live footage of "Fusion of Sense and Earth" and in-depth video question-and-answer video with ENSLAVED guitarist Ivar Bjrnson and bassist/vocalist Grutle Kjellson.
